Migration Studies and New Societies
During the second semester the student will take 4 compulsory courses (Political Philosophy of Migration; Economics of Migration; Social Science Methods; Digital Competences). In addition, they will select one of three courses that introduce the three learning pathways:
- Globalization as Risk and Opportunity (International Migration and Politics)
- People on the Move in Fiction and Non-fiction Literature (Civil Society and Integration)
- Social Participation and Intercultural Communication (Social Anthropology of Space and Mobility)
Finally, the student will participate in a 3 ECTS course offered by the University of Warsaw. Migration Studies and New Societies program offers additional specific courses:
- Human Rights: Juridical and Philosophical Perspective
- Visual Representations of Migrants and Diaspora Cultures
The student’s enrolment at the University will be reflected in the study plan they will be following during the last semester.
